Andrew joined the Inland Revenue fast stream in 1988 and left as Assistant District Inspector of Taxes in 1993. Since then he has been offering advice and representation to individuals, companies and professional firms throughout the UK and is the Managing Director and lead consultant for Professional Tax Practice Limited, PTP's consultancy arm. He also lectures widely on all aspects of tax law and practice and has contributed many articles on technical matters to the professional press. Andrew was made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2005 and his learned treatise was awarded the CIoT's Fellowship Thesis Prize & Gold Medal and the Banker's Taxation Circle Prize.
